yes it is a spell so u summon one just like pally/lock, and u will gte it from a quest in the start (:

The runesystem works kinda like Rage and Energy.

Runes work as Soulshards are to Warlocks, but they regen on their own and you get 2 Blood, 2 Frost, 2 Unholy; they are used for many of the DK's abilities. On top of that, you have Runic Power (works like Rage from a warrior) which is used in combination with the runes for more spells and buffs.
