true that...even without liquid swords hes still unbelievable...Beneath The Surface was awesome, Legend of the Liquid Sword is one of the most underrated albums ever, GrandMasters was great, and this new album is a quality album...GZA isnt called the Genius for nothing

You're right that vocals definitely do sound thinner, lacking much bottom. It seems more like the mixdown/mics and not the vocal technique. They new style vocals give the album a different texture.
