Janis gave women alot of room in the music industry; she is one of the greats that paved the way. Spears is way too overproduced, and sings for the dollar and not from the heart. As for Janis' scandalls: well, at least she could get out of a car without exposing herself, at least she didn't shave her head on a whim, at least people are still talking about her music 40 years later, and she will still be talked about 10-15 years down the road. Never forgotten.

Wow, I can't believe that there is actually people here comparing Janice to Britney??? WTF!!! OK, I am sure I will have a majority of people agree with me when I say there is NO comparison, none, Janice is talent, she created a name for herself that will live on forever, she is unique,and a legend while, the only thing Brit has to offer is a big rack, and the clap...wow cant believe there is a comparison!!!
