You can wash them, but you'll never get all the makeup out of them, so they'll still hold bacteria inside of them. If you're going to do that, make sure to let them dry really well before using them again. I personally don't like using a brush for foundation, I just don't find it gives good enough coverage.

Hey, I've been a subscriber of your videos for a while, but this is my first time commenting. I wanted to ask you if it's possible to re-use foundation sponges if you wash them with soap after use. I know that you say that they should be thrown away after each use, but I can't afford to keep buying new sponges all the time. Also, do you recommend a foundation brush instead of a sponge?
