Hey Brain, Do you think it's possible the market price action is consolidating here only to test the all-time highs. I think a sharp rally would cause the greatest pain.

If you ignore futures contracts, and if everyone sells in a market and no one buys theoretically everyone loses all their money. Is this correct? Is there a difference now with futures contracts and the ability to sell short giving the possibility to make money in a falling market as opposed to say in 1929 when I'm guessing futures contracts were not available. Does this "shore up" the market by allowing sellers to become buyers in the event of a sudden decline?
