Can't imagine and Doesn't exist are different things.

You are correct. A true Klein bottle does not intersect itself, and can only exist in 4 dimensions.

Hmm, there's a thought. Maybe a 3d material actually could fill 4d space, or at least partially.. But it would probably have to be "wrinkled" 4th dimension-wise (like a fractal) because it doesn't start out with that element of 4-space. I'm not really sure.

is this some re-uptake specimen bottle? if i did a wee in one would it come back out and go straight back up my weener? this is what science is all about- i'd buy one as long as it was sensibly priced.

I'm not positive so you might want to double check me on this but I think that a TRUE klein bottle can only exist in 4D.

if you would fill it with water it would be full and empty at the same time. if u think about where would liquid go? it's just like an ordinary bottle which is crossing itself. actually the bottom of this bottle is surrounding the top opening. it makes it funny

Well, the Klein Bottle isn't fourth dimensional, or at least it doesn't have to be.
It's a 3rd dimensional surface (or object) with unusual properties, the description explains it.
To answer your question, I'm assuming that your reference to "4d" is spacetime: There are 3 dimensions of space (think any object) plus 1 dimension of time. In the real world, the universe is seen as being in three dimensions, but "in" the fourth dimension. So The Klein Bottle can be made in 4d, or displayed in 3d!
cankarales (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
interesting. this is supposed to be 4th dimension?
is it only possible to make something in 4d only in virtual world not psychical?
can anyone explain me anything?

Infinity is a myth?

Oops.
Anyway, why are more dimensions myths? Care to explain? |
