actually, they change the name 'cuz M.Tyson could get mad and bite some ears XD, but seriously, the change the name 'cuz he could demand capcom for using his name and image without authorization, even if it was a parody I think he got a little mad about it. and that's why they changed the names (and I like them more in this way... think about it, have you ever heard about a spanish guy named Balrog ???

In Japan, the boxer's name is M.Bison (Mike Bison, a parody of Mike Tyson), the spanish gay guy with the claws is named Balrog (which is not at all a spanish name...) and the quasi-Hitler guy is called Vega, which sounds more spanish than Balrog (which is probably why they switched the names for the american version).
