When he was found there wasn't enough blood for cause of death to be presumed suicide by slashing of the wrists, hence the line Thom wrote "Where's the blood?"

Throughout his life he found it almost impossible, and very uncomfortable, to take pills of any sort. The pills he allegedly took are not just normal sized, however; they were very thick and long pills, hard even for an experiences pill-popper to swallow.
I am one of the many who believe Kelly was murdered. He deserves an inquest!

A Government inquiry found that he has committed suicide, but it's very hard to die from slashing your wrists, as the artery which he allegdly sliced is of matchstick thickness. He was a doctor, he would have chosen a more effective was to kill himself.

Er, no.
Kelly wasn't a politician, he was a weapons inspector. He spoke to a journalist called Andrew Gilligan about the Government's Iraq weapons dossier, casting doubt on some of the claims in it. The media discovered he was Gilligan's source for the claims he was making and hounded him. The Government publicly crucified him (not literally) for telling people that they were lying.
He was found dead on Harrowdown Hill with a slashed wrist and an almost empty packet of tablets.
