That seems like it would be easy to notice.
I dont know much about karate, but I know enough to read attacks. If your opponent is taking that much energy to kick you while obviously bringing their leg up to attack you can duck and sweep em. Then laugh hysterically at their epic phailer.

it was a good swing, but u slpped the bag with a good chunk of ur foot, try to land more of the shin, those are the really devastating ones

ZABIVELLI you'r welcome mate, and thanx for the compliment,if you do pivot you will end up side on to the bag/opponent,with knee slightly bent./dont forget to throw a jab,and a cross first,or at least a jab, even if you'r,doing bag work or sparrin etc,it gets the attention away from the main plan(the kick)goodluck..
Zabivelli (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
oh ok thanx man now i know what you mean...i will try it on my training..i think you got thebest comment so far..thats why i had to know what pivorring was. thanx man

Sorry, I misread the question. You keep your hands up in the kick to block your face. A lot of fighters counter a roundhouse kick with a right cross, and if you don't swing you kicking leg hand down and opposite kicking hand up to protect your face, the right cross will nail you in the face, causing more damage than your kick. |
