That was just rhetoric, hot air nothing more. A Communist would not seek to form alliances with capitalists and imperialists, much less betray potential revolutions abroad in places like Spain, China, post war Greece, France, Italy, etc. The USSR was not an imperialist nor an empire. It did not behave in the same way, because it didn't involve a ruling class raping countries for their resources.

Even communists regard Piotr as a good emperor. But in no way is it acceptable to praise a butcher and tyrant like Nicolai II.

Yes he was, and Stalin called his enemies the same way: capitalists and imperialists. As a matter of fact the USSR was an empire, it's downfall is not very different from other colonial imperialisms. The USSR was a terrestrial empire who acted like a colonial empire. This answer has been delayed due to high traffic on my internet connection.

Stalin's a Communist? Hmm, that's funny. Because I always thought Communists fought capitalism and imperialism, not capitulate to them. Struggle for revolution, not betray it. Champion dedicated Communists, not murder them. Stalin was the best thing the West could've hoped for.

Hitler served the German ruling class who then handed power to him in 1933 when they got desperate, just like in Italy. Hitler preserved capitalism in Germany, and smashed unions with his SS and SA thugs. How is this socialism or any relation to the Communist idea? If you think they're the same, then you're quite ignorant.

Thank you for this video. Tsar Martyr Nicholas, pray to God for us!

Yes, I'm perfectly aware of what I'm saying. Communism belongs to the socialist branch yes, so why argue?
bpeter3196 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Socialism & communism are branches of the same system or idea.
bpeter3196 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Do you know what you're talking about? As a political ideology, Communism is usually considered to be a branch of socialism; a broad group of economic & political philosophies that draw on the various political & intellectual movements with origins in the work of theorists of the Industrial Revolution & the French Revolution... In effect there the same thing. Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez & Bolivian President Evo Morales openly communist & also considered socialists changing to communism.

Stalin was not a communist. Moreover, even Lenin was not a communist. They very much declared themselves as communists, but really were just criminals aching for power. Trotsky, Martov, Plehanov, Axcelrod were a little nearer, but still communism is just a theory.
