Daley may be corrupt and raise taxes, but Chicago is run very efficiently and hasnt gone down hill like other midwestern cities like Detroit or cleveland. Businesses are investing in the city, major construction projects are going on downtown, and we are a contender for the olympics. So things really could be a lot worse.
