Actually you'll find that New Zealand designed and adopted the flag in 1869. 31 years before anything of the sort was seen in Australia. Also when the newly incepted government of australia chose the winning flags of the competition they used to find a national flag, a designer named William Steven's, a ship officer from Auckland, was among the winners. my comment about aussie baby killers was a cheeky one about the dingo stole the baby alot of people dont realize the proper story behind it , its about a lady who killed her baby in the outback and said a dingo stole her baby they havnt found the baby or any evidence to this day of the dingo stealing the baby
