The Rite of Spring from Disney's Fantasia. Stravinsky's omonimous score was supposed to be about primitive human rituals, but Disney's animators took a completely different inspiration from it and decided to tell the history of Earth up to the extinction of the dinosaurs. The combination of music and animation is perfect. This first part shows the evolution of Earth before the appearance of life. Please comment and rate. Thanks.

wow brings back memories. my mother used to have to touch the tv to assure me the t-rex wasn't real so i wouldn't be so scared

Heck, they're already doing another Princess movie(Princess and the Frog) and it's 2-D. Which is nice. Jeffrey Katzenberg didn't even know what he was talking about.

I kinda like the song...the segment's just a bit boring compared to the Sorcerer's Apprentice, Dance of the Hours, and A Night on Bald Mountain segments though. It's still kinda scary though, especially the T-Rex part.
